2. Hosting & website operation

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit this website, Netlify automatically processes technically necessary data — for example IP address, device and browser information, time of access and the page requested — in order to deliver, secure and reliably operate the website. This log data is deleted automatically after a short period.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in secure and stable website operation. Netlify processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses and Netlify’s participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

3. Contacting us — inquiry form, email or phone

If you use the inquiry form on this website, the data you enter — your names, email address, wedding date, desired event coverage, wedding location, investment range and your message — is transmitted via our server to our CRM system kreativ.management (see Section 4) and processed there for the sole purpose of handling your inquiry. The form sets no cookies. To keep automated spam out, our server performs technical plausibility checks on each submission (an invisible challenge solved by your browser and a minimum completion time) — no third-party services are involved and no additional personal data is stored for this.

If you contact us by email or phone instead, we process the information you provide for the same purpose.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual communication. Storage period: we store inquiries for as long as necessary to process them and delete them afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

4. CRM & email tracking — kreativ.management / Hochzeit.Management GmbH

We use a CRM system to manage inquiries, communication, offers and customer relationships. Personal data — for example name, email address, communication content and project data — may be processed in the CRM.

Email tracking may be used within the CRM — for example open and click tracking via tracking pixels and tracking links — to make communication traceable. Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (communication in connection with your inquiry), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient, traceable communication) and, where required, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

Objection: you may object to email tracking at any time, for example by sending an email to hello@kurt-photography.de.

5a. Cookieless reach measurement (our own server)

To understand how this website is used, it counts page views on our own server — without cookies, without any third party and without storing IP addresses. To distinguish visitors within a single day, the server creates a non-reversible hash from IP address, browser identifier and a random daily key; that key is discarded when the day ends, after which the stored values can no longer be linked to anyone. We also count anonymous totals such as “inquiry form started” or “inquiry sent”, the country a visit originates from — determined by our hosting provider at request time — and whether a visit came from a phone, tablet or desktop computer. Country and device type are stored only as plain counters, never together with any other data; the browser identifier itself is not retained. No profiles are created and the data is not shared.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly measurement of reach. Since no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required.

5. Consent & Google Analytics 4

By default, this website sets no cookies and loads no tracking scripts. Only if you actively agree via the web analytics setting at the end of this page do we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to understand in aggregate how visitors use this site — for example which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive here and whether an inquiry is sent. IP addresses are shortened by Google Analytics before storage. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; such transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and EU standard contractual clauses. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months.

Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage) and can be withdrawn or changed at any time via the setting at the end of this page — the “Privacy settings” link in the footer leads there. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG (consent). If you decline, nothing is loaded — the website works identically either way.

6. Recipients of data

We only share personal data where this is necessary: with our hosting provider for website operation, with Hochzeit.Management GmbH / kreativ.management for CRM-based inquiry management, and — only if you have consented — with Google for web analytics (see Section 5).

7. Storage period

We store personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose. Afterwards, we delete it unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy if the legal situation, the website or the services used change.
